Microsoft Lowering Its Profile at CES After 2012 - balfourwatiod

Microsoft will take in a tonic display at the Consumer Electronics Show for the last time in 2012, although information technology will extend to participate in the giant trade show, a company executive said in a blog C. W. Post Wednesday.

Microsoft will tender a keynote speech at the upcoming CES, January. 10 to 13 in Las Vegas, but the keep company is rethinking how it announces new products, Frank Shaw, V.P. for corporate communication theory, wrote in the blog post.

"Our industry moves fast and changes faster," Shaw wrote. "And so the agency we communicate with our customers essential change in as speedy ways."

The company is looking new ways to promote its products, including in-house events, Facebook and Chirrup announcements, and information on Microsoft.com, Shaw wrote.

"As we look at all of the new shipway we enjoin our consumer stories … it feels like the right time to reach this transition," he said. "We'll continue to participate in CES A a great place to connect with partners and customers across the PC, sound and amusement industries, but we South Korean won't get a tonic or booth after this year because our product word milestones generally don't align with the register's January timing."

Microsoft has worked with CES shop the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) for nearly 20 long time, and the keep company will proceed to work with the trade group, Shaw said.

A CEA spokeswoman wasn't immediately obtainable for scuttlebutt.
